when ever i rev my motor it makes a slight whining sound...almost like a blower but ALOT quieter i dont know what it is but its pissing me off....its prob a belt but grrrr its annoying...also when i start it up and the cars been sitting for a while it makes a lil high pitch whine for like 1 sec then it goes away....errr both noises are oh so annoying..

its probably your alternator making noise and its coming throught your speakers as a whine. --- put your volume really low and see if you hear it. then turn your sterio off and see if you can hear it. if you cant hear it with your sterio off then its your alternator. ---- it could also be a bearing going bad somewhere-alternator-compressor-power steering-

belt dressing keeps your belt from cracking and keeps it lubricated dont use any lubricant though or your belts will slip. you can buy belt dressing at any autoparts store.
