Default Opinions on Strange rear shocks????

I know I can wait untill Tuesday to call them but I want an answer now lol.

Does Strange rebuild/re-valve their shocks?

I have a set of rear adjustable shocks here at my shop that came off a customers car. One shock is good. The other shock's rod is bent from all hell from when the customer ripped out his torque box and in turn it put the whole rear axle out of wack and bent the rod.

I have been watching the video over and over and maybe the key to get my car hooking is to get some adjustable shocks. The car seems to be unloading itself after the initial hit. Thinking maybe I need to be able to adjust the rebound in my rear shocks.

So if strange does rebuild their shocks should I have strange rebuild it, just buy a new shock, or just scrap the whole idea, my car will never hook right

opinions please.

Thanks everyone

I think its more trying to find the sweet spot. When you bog it automatically unloads. I think you need to come out a lil harder.

wow that video is gonna haunt me till the day I die aint it.

you all apperantly dont know the story behind that last video. We had sooooo much timing takin out on that launch. Yes it fuckin hooked I know, then the car bogged down. Thats the only time the car bogs down.

Its just an all motor 347! there should be no reason why we would have to pull that much timing out on launch.

there is something amiss in the rear suspension.

fuck it I am just gonna go back to my old setup some no name non adjustable uppers an lowers with RUBBER bushings and stock springs and shocks. I was cutting 1.60 short times. I install all this megabite lower, relocations brackets, upper adjustables, 50/50's blah blah blah, should go 1.50's right?

No I now go 1.70+'s pushing 1.80's if I am fucking lucky!

I am going back to what I know.

And yes my fucking pinion angle is right!

if the car is unloading too fast maybe try more horsepower, that a good way to keep the rear end from unloading.

what really has my puzzeled is I have setup numberous adjustable suspensions here at the shop all of them are wroking. All my customers are coming back telling me they went from 1.70's down to 1.50's with my setup I did for them.

So why is mine amiss?

I setup mine and it goes from 1.60's to 1.80's if i am lucky
