yes i kno... my plans are either a T5 or T56 swap into it and strapping a T66 turbo to it. im going to try to run 10lbs on the stock engine.

+1 I'd love to scrap my T-5 for a C-4 with a 4500 stall an Tranny brake.

 

True. Without automatics, manual trannys would never know how truly shitty they are in the quarter mile.

I guessing he wasn't making fun of automatics in general just the fact it more then likely has an AOD.

 

Ever get it to rev? I had clogged cats once and it wouldnt run ot rev worth a damn. Any chance something built a nest in the pipes? I had squirls and chipmunks all in a old Nova i got once. Finally got it up and running and whilde driving had one looking at me thru the AC vents. Funny as hell, till the wife went nuts!

 

as i stated earlier i let it run for about 15-20 min then took it around the block and now it will slap 6k with ease. ive only drivin a couple of mustangs. a 98 Cobra, 95 6cyl turbo and a 91 GT with T5 and some work done to the 5.0... i must say as far as stock goes there pretty peppy. definetly faster then my monte as it sits now.
