Default Steeda Subframe Connectors

I am installing full length subframe connectos and I am trying to weld the torx plate in. I can't weld the torx plate completly because of the rear control arm is in the way.

How did you guys get around this?

Did you remove the rear control arm?

Thanks a lot.

I got ya...

Why did you change the control arms out?

Also, if I were to remove the control arm just temporary would I just take off that bolt there with a jack underneath it? Then just slide it down?

Yeah, you just unbolt the control arm & swing it down out of harms way. Definitely support the rearend on a jack/jackstand.

As for changing out the control arms - because the stock ones suck. The aftermarket choices out there are far superior.

just unbolt it? What about the compression in the spring? I need to support it with a jack right?

WEEEW I got the torx plates on.. About 2 hours of work.. Man it SUCKS welding on my back... I soo wish I had a drive on lift... If I were to do it again I would go drive on lifts.

My welds were affected by my uncomfort also.. =(... Oh well they will hold...
