Question tire question

does anyone know the biggest tire that i can put on a stock svt lightning rim? stock size is 295-45-18...looking to go bigger. any knowledge would be greatly appreciated thank you

305 nitto drag radial, otherwise stay with the 295

stay the same not much else will fit in a radial goodyear is about it

Nitto 555R 305/45/18... anything else and you will not hold the weight of the truck...


If you were road racing and had a seperate set of rims, you could get away with a 315/35/18... however I would only suggest those on the back... and the brand would not matter as much since the truck would be only seeing limited operating time...

In the stock size you have Goodyear, Hankook, Nitto, Toyo, and used to be BFG... not sure if they still have them or not... been a while since I looked for a stock size.. so I am not up to date on things...
