Ok, just picked up an 03 Mustang GT, black w/ black leather interior and the Mach 1000 stereo. 5speed. K&N filter, under drive pullies, flowies. What are some cheap things I can do to make her faster??

+1 on the spray. I thought you were looking for a coupe?

 

4.10 or 4.30 gear

 

+1 on a new gear set. It will wake that car up. Ask vec I just installed a set of 4.10's in his car and he loves em.

 

the ideal gear for that year is 373 wich you can find for under 100$ plus a performane chip under 200$ and a h-pipe under 200$ and then you can start thinking about spray IMO

 

If your going to go supercharger or turbo go with a 3.73. If statin motor or nitrous go with the 4.10. And don't waste your time with a so called "cookie cutter" performance chip. Junk! Spend the money on a custome tuned chip specific for the car. And please tell me where you can get a gear set for under 100 bucks unless you where talkin about a used gear set for that price.

 

ditch the Mach stereo and those 23 amps in your trunk....

 

Indeed the 4:10's did wake the car up substantially. I will say this, whenever you decide to get anything done to your car I highly recommend you take it to Dave at Genium Performance. I had a great experience there and will continue going there for all my performance needs. Hard to find shops that are run by people who truely care about their customer's satisfaction anymore.
