Anytime man. You all do great work and should be recognized for it. Just be sure to let me know when those stickers come in so I can give you all some free advertising . Was thinking about something to go on the side of the hood scoop. Preferably in black lettering.

I just hooked up a set of Flowtech long tubes and they let loose some ponies. A great bolt on. I got those from ebay for 275.00.

Ok, thanks for the tips and info guys. Yeah I am seriously thinking of ditching all that weight in the back soon. It has 373's already in it, an H pip. I am going to put long tubes on it and do I have to chip it or can I just put a tuner on it?

Here is my professional opinion on a chip. Fords quality control on these motors is junk! I have seen the timing chains vary from motor to motor. One motor can have the timing slightly advance while another motor in the same year can actually be slightly on the retarded side (more so with the 4V then the 2V) They dont care as long as it runs. I have seen cars run better with what I call a "cookie cutter chip" then I have seen the same chip on another car absolutly make the car fall in its face with a chip like that. Those chips make power by adding timing and leaning the fuel mixture out. Deffitnally not the way to go if your doing a power adder. So what I tell people spend the little bit of extra money and get a custom tuned chip specific for the car (which we can provide)

Just my .02 cents on this matter.

How much for a custom chip? When can you do it?

And how big of cams can I put in it without issues on the stock pistons?

from my reading, cams are rather pointless with 4.6s unless you wanna get the max outta the motor and pay the premium for it

That is very true, because of having such a low CR, the 2v's boltons wont add as much as say a 96-01 Cobra or Mach 1. Add to the fact that the 2v is mostly bottom end and the 4v is all top end.

Gears, midpipe and LT's along with a tuner pretty much max this car as for bolton's.

To spend the amount to have LT's and cams installed and a dyno tune, you can find a supercharger kit for a similar amount of money.

gears mid pipe and longtubes and tune your around 1100-1500

add cams and your around another 1000 or so. Still cheaper and with the correct tune it would be about 300-310 to the wheels.

add a s/c and its $3500-$7000 and you will be at 350-390 hp
