If your going to go supercharger or turbo go with a 3.73. If statin motor or nitrous go with the 4.10. And don't waste your time with a so called "cookie cutter" performance chip. Junk! Spend the money on a custome tuned chip specific for the car. And please tell me where you can get a gear set for under 100 bucks unless you where talkin about a used gear set for that price.
Ok, thanks for the tips and info guys. Yeah I am seriously thinking of ditching all that weight in the back soon. It has 373's already in it, an H pip. I am going to put long tubes on it and do I have to chip it or can I just put a tuner on it?

Just my .02 cents on this matter.
from my reading, cams are rather pointless with 4.6s unless you wanna get the max outta the motor and pay the premium for it

That is very true, because of having such a low CR, the 2v's boltons wont add as much as say a 96-01 Cobra or Mach 1. Add to the fact that the 2v is mostly bottom end and the 4v is all top end.
Gears, midpipe and LT's along with a tuner pretty much max this car as for bolton's.
To spend the amount to have LT's and cams installed and a dyno tune, you can find a supercharger kit for a similar amount of money.

gears mid pipe and longtubes and tune your around 1100-1500
add cams and your around another 1000 or so. Still cheaper and with the correct tune it would be about 300-310 to the wheels.
add a s/c and its $3500-$7000 and you will be at 350-390 hp
