I can not be the only SVT guy to think this is horrible am I? It looks like SHIT and has not much in the way of performance. The 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R has 185 hp 185 ft lbs of torque. Sorry but it should not wear the SVT badge. Just my 2 cents.

 

At the Detroit Auto Show they talked about a Supercharger option (225+ hp).

That page is old Look at the hp rating for the Lightning.

It should walk from the SVT Contour that is all I know. My little blue minivan weighs in at 2500 lbs and has torque (for a 4 cyl). I venture to say that the SVT Focus has a superior power to weight ratio to a 93 and 94-95 Cobra and stock for stock will be door to door with one. Time shall tell. Plus how cool is a 6 speed? Not even the Cobras get those.

SVT focus is an oxymoron. Wait til chevy brings out the SS-metro. Door to Door with 94-95 cobras......Please!!!

 

Knowing Ford they probably would make the Focus just as fast as a 94-95 Cobra. After all we are talking about a company whose fastest production vehicle is a damn full size truck.
