SVT cars were never meant to be all out drag cars just well balanced visually refined handling machines. Think of SVT like you think of the M series of BMWs. Yes they are faster but above all more refined. You guys turn your noses up at the humble Focus but do you think big dead dinasaur guzzlers are going to be the wave of the future?

If I could keep the same car payments per month...Id definately trade mine in for one. As with every Ford to sport the SVT badging it needs suspension work. It seems SVT likes the 4X4 look.

The SVT Focus does look like a good starting point for future mods as compared to the regular ZX3. It looks like you could probably put about 6-8psi on that car and the clutch tranny and the rest of the drive train wouldnt have a problem. The addition of a Vortec would make that car just about perfect.

SVT should definatly drop a supercharger on that thing that would be sooooo much fun. But I bet people will have fun even with this thing as it is i think its kinda tight seeing a new addition to the SVT family.

10.2:1 compression + 8psi = Damage. Fords done some good marketing to sucker yall in. Why dont you buy a probeGT or the TURBO escort. Just like Honda has used V-TECH to sucker in all the children Ford will use SVT. Dont beleive the hype!!!

 

Its easy enough to lower the compression. If I wasnt going DSM Id buy one myself! Sounds like its going to be one fun little car! Go for it Craig!

Craig you are wonderful. Platonically of course. The SVO mustang is the fastest car I have ever driven. My pops had one since I was in middle school. I wanted to bring it up and show off for tr but he sold it...new project tho will be shown..72 getterdun 460....
