I have not picked up or subsribed to a Mustang magzine in years. Before that I was getting all of them, still have em too.

Screw all the crap they are pushing now.

Hot Rod still is pretty good, haven't had a sub to MM&FF or 5.0 for a while, not that any of it applies to what I'm building now anyway..

You gotta give them a break for awhile. The monotony cant get pretty crazy.. "OMG CRAZY 200 RWHP ADD-ON VORTECH PACKAGE" 6 months later "UNBELIEVABLE VORTECH PACKAGE FOR NEW 3V MODULAR" 3 months later "INSANE SUPERCHARGER DYNO SHOOTOUT"

MAgs suck and always have. Way back when I first got into this way if getting rid of disposable income and didn't know squat, I followed their recipe on an engine build for a 351 Cleveland. When it was all over, I had a $6K engine that pushed my car to a whopping 13.8 in the quarter. I'm thinking their advertisers were a bunch of happy campers though.

when i started building my first capri all that was out there for info was the mags...i got em all and was able to field my first 10 sec pass in three short years...and i learned most of it from the mags...remember the internet wasnt big then...you guys today are fortunate the internet is here...everything you can imagine is found there today...not so when mustang racing was in its infancy...one of the benefits that also comes from the internet is forums like tr and others...you can get in touch with other stang bangers and learn form each other...
