Default Ignition stuck

K, the starter keeps turning the engine..even after the key is taken out of the ignition. I had to pop the hood and pull off the power wire to stop it. If I put the wire back on the car tries to start.

bad solenoid man.

I put a brand new solenoid in about a month ago and a week later it did that. Replaced it with another one and it fixed the problem. The best way to tell between the solenoid and the ignition switch is to hook up the battery and when the starter engages remove the single wire on the solenoid post and if it doesn't stop it's your solenoid, if it does stop obviously it's your ignition switch. Just be careful not to burn up your starter in the process.
