Arrow Push to start wiring?

Anyone know how to wire an ignition setup like this? Its for a 86 LX. I'm gutting all the wiring in the car and starting over.

I have all the wiring diagrams, I'm just not sure how it should be wired up.

Well If I'm looking at this right, the red/blue is the wire that would go to the solenoid to turn the car over. I'm trying to figure out the rest of the wring going to the stock ignition switch for the "on" switch.

Here is a guy who didi that on his MKIII Supra. I would think since you know the wiring, this would help.

Well, after many years of aggrevation with starting issues, and too many repairs that didn't address the root cause... I did the unthinkable. CHEAT!

Here is the basic picturestory to tell the tale... (I could, but some people don't like to read all that... )

^^^ The OEM trigger lead is replaced by this "insulated" blade-connector, which fits MORE SNUG and SECURE than the old connector...

I pulled stuff apart to make a mount after some shopping at the local auto store.

Finally settled on this "low dollar" push-button. It had decent looking "features" (if such a thing exists...) and appeared robust enough for my needs, appropriate for the mount I had in mind, and keeping with my "subtle/stealth" theme... as part of the install objective.

^^^ Once in, you still don't immediately notice the rubber button in the lighter socket area...

NEXT, I added the "cheeeezy" and obnoxiously obvious BIG, RED, JET-FIGHTER switch... uh... are you SERIOUS!!!???

.....BWAAAAAAAHHHHHHhhhhhh ha ha ha ha!!!

STARTING THE CAR:

As with any other supra... insert your key into the ignition and rotate it to the "ON" position... (no need to turn further... and if you do, there will be no response, accepting the starter relay "click" in the right front kick panel... )

Ignition circuit is now "ACTIVE"!

CALL OUT "CHECK"!!!!!

^^^ Lift the COVER to the "JET FIGHTER SWITCH"!

"CHECK"!!!!!

^^^ ENERGIZE THE HOT-START-CIRCUIT!

"CHECK"!!!!!

PUSH BUTTON>>>>>>>> WHIRRR..WHIRRR...WHIRRR--VROOOOMMmmmmmm!

...ENGINE START! ......"CHECK"!!!!!

^^^ HOT START CIRCUIT disengaged...

CHECK?????

...you get the picture...

Ok, I have the entire harness yanked out. I'm slowly gutting all the a/c, radio, seat/key buzzer, etc.
