Default name that camshaft!





the tail end of the cam has "wilson" etched into it.




some random shots from my garage.

this here is a $1400 hunk of iron.



here's a couple motors. the one in the foreground is the one that i just yanked out of the turbo coupe tonight. the one in the background is the one that i bought for $80 a while back. i've also got the beast that's in the truck in the driveway. there's a couple boxes full of intakes and other miscellaneous parts. do you see the 65mm bbk throttle body??

some random parts on the shelf. on the next shelf over, i've got another intercooler... 4 total.

91 ranger, 88 tc 2.3 turbo, stroked, bored, 5.5" crower connecting rods, wiseco 8.0:1 dished pistons, total seal .030 rings, fully ported iron big valve head, racer walsh turbo roller cam, bobs log, holset wh1c, fmic, full 3" exhaust. not really a whole lot left to do.

Man, I just noticed you are on foxtbirdcougarforums...

I'm on there as 88XR7

Ford tech doesn't show love for the 2.3s mann.

there is a bunch of us that have 2.3 mostly turbos,I have been helped by some of the other guys on here, I have an xr4ti. but I also have a 76 mustang ll. there is no love for that one, Its what I got and nobody else has one. the 2.3 is different lots of potential but you have to work at it. I like them because you can get 300 hp with mostly factory parts and a lot of work

Mhm, I wanted a 2.3, but (like I've said many of times) I got stuck with my 5.0
Maybe there is more love for the 2.3s on here then I have noticed.
