Question Ford Escort...

No clutch, the clutch pedal has no pressure....what can that be???...lol...Its not the actual clutch.I tried to belld it by opening the "nipple" on the tranny/clutch fork thing....nothing came out but a few drips...its full off fluid...I loosened the lines to see if it had pressure in the lines them self and they do...???

IDK what the problem is...

Any ideas?

Sorry for some of the responses, but there aren't a lot of Escort owners here. Try to send a PM to EscortLVR. https://www.tamparacing.com/forums/member.php?u=14933
He used to visit here a bit, but he might be able to help you.

Possibly the clutch master cylinder. That was the cause of many clutch issues on the Foci.

The master cyl. was just replaced by the owner.....

I bled the clutch by loosining up the "nipple" on the outside of the tranny, thats connected to the clutch fork....ALSO,nothing but a few drips came out..but the resivore(sp*) is FULL.

But,im thinking its something to do with the bleeder valve thing on the tranny.....

IDK.

The guy probably didn't bench bleed the master cylinder before putting it in so like I said in the PM, you are gonna be there for hours . A good ol' mightyvac hand vacuum pump or a brake flush from a shop will get it done in a hurry though!
