i already put a new thermostat on after i heard the pop cuz i thought that may have fixed but....... not really.

it still overheats but not as much thou

 

Could have a air pocket in the system somewhere. Is the fan working? How is the condition of the coolant?

 

be sure to check your ccrm.

 

I turned the car on and the fan doesn't move---- but a friend told me that the fan works when the car gets to normal temp. I thought that was wrong what he told me, buy hey he knew more about cars than me.......could he be wrong???

 

wat's a "ccrm"????? is that the compression test the others are talking about??

 

The ccrm is the constant control relay module. It controls the fans and the a/c clutch. And yes the fan will only turn on if the engine is at a certain temp. You can jump the relay though to make it work with just key on.
