Default problems with mustang

After driving a fox body mustang for about 2 years now I am noticing the weakness in the vehicles. One would be downforce and the other would be overall looseness of the car or the oversteer.

Who agrees?

Car was aligned a month before I got it, receipt was in the glovebox so I know it was done. I've got new wheels to put on it, so we'll see if it's better with the new alignment

well mine just feels REALLY light at high speeds.. It obviously has no downforce..

Is there anyway to correct this?

Also, if there is a mod could you move this to ford talk?

Sure, get better suspension and put a better spoiler on it. An aluminum drag race wing is teh shiznit if you're going in a straight line at high speeds. But you'll look kinda stupid with one on unless you're running 9s or 8s in the 1/4 anyways. But definatly upgrade the suspension before you even start worrying about other stuff - yours is probably shot to shit.

I know my 89 gt was the same way. At 100 mph the car felt loose and seemed to float at that speed.
My 85 svo is the exact opposite at 100mph your a stable as can be. Since the svo is a fox just like the gt the main difference I would bet is in the suspension.

If you're going to be doing alot of higher speed driving then drop it a few inches with some better shocks/struts and you will be set.
