it also has some suspension work as UPR complete frontend kit. But the coil overs are setup for road racing spring rate. Probably around 75 pounds off the front end.

 

the only thing im missing from your mod list is the heads, long tubes, and spacer.. i have everything you've mentioned and mine has the diablo tune... so if your running those times im DEFINATELY gonna do the PI swap after i gear it..

im gonna buy some 4.10's within the next two weeks and then 2-3 weeks after that im gonna buy the heads..

how do you like those cams?

 

if i were you id get some gears, springs and some spray......

 

the cams have a nice sound at idle, really comes on strong after 3000-3500. Needs to be tuned as at idle it seems to run rich but I believe its due to the overlap on the cams.

 

now my heads also have been ported, nothing fancy. replaced the springs and valves also.

 

i'm gonna try and stay away from spray.. i want a solid low 13 second car all motor..thats what im gonna shoot for..


but i havent had good luck with spray so im gonna avoid it if i have to..

 

who did the head work?

 

the guy that owned the car before me did it. Just unshrouded under the valve area and cleaned up the ports a little. No flow numbers.

 

doesn't the PI swap cost alot of money? im not real familiar with 4.6s but i thought the intake, heads, valvecovers, brackets etc had to be changed. pricewise wouldnt it be about the same for a used blower?

 

nooo not even close.. jaso0on bought his complete swap for 350 bucks i think is what he told me.. and i've seen some for sale cheaper than that.. just depends..
