well, i took my cobra to Brandon Ford for the 3rd Fucking time to have them fix the leaky diff on my cobra


2004

1st time - idoit kid (mechanic) caked! gasket sealant all over the bottom of the diff. still fuckin leaked! on the paperwork i think they charged Ford for a full rebuilt of the rear.

2nd time - (1 week later) still leaked in the garage and took it back in, they put it on the lift and thats when i noticed what the fucking idoit (mechanic) did. He was fired. But again i was without my car so they could fix it. once again they charged Ford for rebuilt of rear end - they said it was the only way to make sure it wasnt leaking.

2007

3rd time - take it in this week, Car is out of warranty as of Feb. wanted to charge $90 to determind the problem then maybe, just maybe Ford will cover the repair. Oh, no loaner car!

i love the mustang, but my next car will not be a Ford.

 

what does a car brand have to do with one dealership?

 

everything. if a resturant had great food but shitty service would you go back? their service speaks for the company. most people dont care about their reputation, thus their service is shit.

 

their service people are employed by the dealship, not Ford...

and honestly, that could happen anywhere....

 

They can PO5(service shit they use to pay for out of warranty stuff under warranty) it if they want seeing as how it was previously fixed and so close to being out of warranty unless it is serious high mileage.

 

Brandon Ford does suck, just be happy you didnt buy a 6.0L diesel and take it there. They wanted to charge my friend for a rental after it took them 6 weeks to replace the motor FUCK them!!!!!!

 

I am sorry to hear about it Randy. The problem exist with ALL dealerships. I have never had a good experience with any of them.... ever! So here is my $.02 on the matter.... If you don't want to hear my opinion, just move to the next post....

I kind of look at dealerships like I do with cops. They, meaning both, are so used to having people lie to them, they just start off by treating all people like your trying to pull something over on them. If they find out that you are honest, then they will give you a break. However, by the time that happens, you either trade in the car or end up in hand cuffs!!!

 

that makes no sense. i goto one mcdonalds and get crappy service so i just stop going to mcdonalds all together? no i just goto a different one.....

 

For McDonalds, I agree, because I expect crappy service for a $.99 burger.

For something like Burns or Shulas, I am there for the service for my overpriced steak, so I agree with Ryan.

Just I'm not much help.... I can just see two sides to that comment.....

 

I have never had good luck with any Ford dealership. So when my Mustang was still under warranty I would take it to Northgate Lincoln Mercury and man what a difference !

After not being to that dealership in almost 10+ years I went back when I needed warranty work my Lincoln LS and I got the same great service.
