The year before was bad. Last year they are saying is due to a "I want to say early" El Nino. I was reading about it like last month i think it was.

John just got off the phone with my grandparents, they just got back from a 5 week vac. in colorado. came home to 7" of water in the basement and a fridge that shit the bed while they were gone!!!! Looks like CT is getting fucked hard, just leave that place come and play down here with the hurricanes
