and how much power are we talkin here as far as loss?
No way would I take the power loss for the "cool" look. They are sexy but so is more power.

One guy that I know rather well lost right below 25 rwhp so around 30-40 at the crank. That is enough to make sure i don't want one. Also they arnt perfect fits. There is some cutting an pasting involved with them.

Only reason i would put one on a Novi kit is if I was running 10+ lbs of boost and the sir was actually getting hot enough for the use of one.

I perfer a stock "sleeper" look to a CCW wheeled car with a chrome and shinny front mount. Are they sexy....of course but if there not needed then why add?

25 rwhp? i wonder why that is? maybe just the extra resistance from running through the cooler? you would think the cooler air charge would make up for it?

At 8 lbs of boost and all the extra routing it's not. The air is cooler but it was never too hot to begin with. Only when the blower is spinning very fast 10+ psi (actually I would even say 15+ psi). Is when the air would get hot enough to justify a intercooler.

Till then just slap the blower on and enjoy the sound and ride you get from it.

6 to 8 lbs. I wouldn't push it any further than that. Just get a good tune when it's all done.
