T5 Bellhousing

How can I tell a foxbody T5 Bellhousing from a SN95 Bell? I googled it and didn't find anything. There was one in the trunk of the Vert I picked up and it looks a tad longer than the one that is in the car.... or am I seeing shit?

you're probably not seeing shit.

i don't have the measurements, but i know the sn95 is longer and will not work with bbk longtubes

I am not going to need it if it is an sn95 bell. I think the tranny that is in the car came out of a sn95.

a sn 95 bell housing will read 5.0 on it between the two top bolt holes.

sorry i don't have one here to measure. the sn one will be about 5/8 longer though....and the casting # will begin with something like F4xx...

I looked all over the piece... can't see a tag or # anywhere on it at all.

5.0 will be cast in the bellhousing at the top. I dont think you'll be able to see with the tranny in the car.
