Iam glad I am not the only one that hasen't heard of that. I love the way my 98 sounds with the Flowmasters.

Two weeks ago at Sunshine the car went 6.94. Last night it went 6.76/109 with only a 1.7 60ft on 26x10 ET streets.
At Lamotta's Performance it put down 517 on pump gas/533 on race fuel.
3.25/4.125 Dart block, TEA TW heads, Lentech AOD, 3:55 gears, Incon kit @ 12psi.

Cool. Now I know how you got that high mph in the 1/8. I just have a stock 98 GT 4.6 non PI motor.

Also, this is with 60lb inj, holley lower/cartech upper, aeromotive fuel system, SCT 2800 MAF, and a lumpy hr cam. Could not tune any higher than 12psi due to the meter not liking the 3inch tube it is in. Seems the 2800 would be beter in a 4inch tube when it is blow-thru.

So what sucks about them? I mean, they come in all sizes from those that would be far too small for your motor, to far too large for your motor. I can't see why your mod motor doesn't work well with them...all I can see is how your mod motor might not work well a muffler because you're got the wrong diameter pipes on there.
