So I moved into an apartment last night in The landings at cypress meadows,so far ive had it for less than 24 hours and want to break the lease. I first get there and notice under the ac unit theyres water,then the dishwasher takes forever to start...and then my friend leaves at 2 a.m.,calls me and says "hey didnt you park right next to me?" and I spring up and say something along the lines of "what the fuck are you talking about?",first i thought my car got jacked,then noticed my girls car missing,turns out they towed both of them,while moving in she never had the chance to put the sticker on the car,and where she told me visitor parking was since i dont have a sticker either,turned out not to be visitor,so yeah,there i was at 3 a.m. paying 322 to get my cars out of the impound,and the manager is just like "tough luck." What a great way to build rapport with new tennants right? move in and 3 hours later they tow your car. And then all night you can hear them dropping the flatbeds,if this is an everyday occurance of having to listen to them tow cars all night,im out. shit i might be out already.

 

wow man, I feel for ya, that sux and Id be also pissed as hell, sounds like ya need to make a call to the person in charge and see if that happens all the time, that is even if hes going to tell you the truth than theres always the direction of calling that news station to get them on there asses if the lanlord doesnt correct these probs. They got some strict laws for lanlords that dont do the right thing. Burn there assses. i get woking up by a Harley dood reving his shit to redline at 5am almost every morning. and when I get woken up early i am NOT a happy camper and usually start raising hell!!! GL and hope things work out for ya...

I dont think i can really do anything since they have a parkign policy,but its mostly one of those good ethics things. Like i said,its a good way to start 364 bad days on a lease.

 

i would make sure i gave them some additional chores around the grounds...you know....garbage thrown all over the street...beer cans in the parking lots. I would definately pee in the pool and trash the bath rooms and laundry rooms........

 

i recomend a good ol' frag grenade in the main office. usually gets the point across rather quickly that moral on the grounds arent very high

The condos i live at are being dicks about the parking deal also. They just repaved the whole place and put Apt numbers down "Didn't have them when i moved in". They want me to park about 150 yrds away from my place when their is no one living in a few of the apts on the floor above me, so those spots are free. They finaly seen my car parked in the wrong spot after about two months this morning and put this big ass sticker on the car saying its illegally parked.

I normaly park one spot over, so im going to go back to parking their, WITH the wheel turn all the way to one side. Try and get that out Bishes!!...lol No way they can get a flat bed down where it's at and if their is any car on either side "normally is", they will have a accident on their hands.

This car now is only my beater though not the cobra. I get the cobra back soon. If they put so much as a scratch on that thing ...well all i have to say is payback is a bitch.

Funny story, not going to get into detils. But i was at this one woman friends place once. She just moved in. Apperently i parked in this dudes spot. Its like 11pm. I come out to some car parked behind mine, blocking me in. So after a few minutes. This guy comes out all, guess i parked in his spot. I was like sorry didnt see anywhere else to park and their is no visitor spots "end up being way down around the corner". He like well the tow truck is on the way so you can not leave they are towing you car. I'm like, oh yeah?

So after bickering with the guy for a while, i'm like Look i'm leaving in about 2 sec if you like it or not. He goes, i'll call the police if you try to leave. I go, Ha, really? What are they going to do? NOTHING... So then he huffs and puffs , well i'll call them and see if they can cancel the tow truck. Ok sure what ever you say.... So they cancel it and he like ok i'll move they aren't coming..... I Just look at him like he's a dumbass and get in my car and leave.

lol, towing companies and apartment complexes, on average, don't have ethics....it's all a big scam....

I parked in front of a gf's apartment once, to run in and give her something, in the resident parking and not one minute later I heard the tow truck so I ran out and told him I'd move it, but he already had it lifted; bitch made me give him like $35 cash just to drop it.....
