im a Machinist at a Machine shop on Oldsmar. Most of the time i do prototype parts. most of the work i do is aerospace and defense work. i see alot of cool stuff, but to much stress.

 

I am an Assistant Manager at a Bridgestone/Firestone store here in Ocala and I love my job.

Her, actually. And nope, she was still employed through a temp agency so her agency was simply notified that her services as a contractor were no longer needed. They called her...oh...probably around dinner time tonight to tell her not to show up to work. Ever.

It becomes more difficult once they get hired on with the company, but the 3-month mandatory contractor probation period is great.

 

We have like 2 dozen security personell on duty at any given time. Seriously. Every door is secured via a keycard system, and all of the entrances are guarded. Thats what happens when you work around billions of dollars in assets.

 

got a friend of mine that does owns his own shop a little ways off of US 19

im a general tech at a Nat'l Tire and Battery(tire kingdom)....

 

Oh, and she was pregnant, which makes it even better. Only because she was a complete waste of payroll and office space and probably thought since she was pregnant we'd let her do a shitty job and stay. I feel sorry for the baby, but I revel in the fact that her lack of drive and commitment has resulted in her current plight.

More likely I'm just relieved I don't have to write up the reports I had to write up for her anymore. She was an awful lot of work for me. Now that she's been taken care of I don't have to put up with that bullshit anymore.
