ok well what you just described ISNT polishing. i am a metal finisher and i can tell you that there is alot more to it then cleaning a part, then putting it in a mixture of water and chemicals to polish it. now that DOES sound like chrome plating, but not polishing.

like i said in the post...there are 2 machines, both containing porcelain that it tumbles around the parts...much like the walnut shell deal

my bad about the above post you CAN polish metal that way it just wont take any pits or defects out of the metal. when you polish something send me a pic or 2 of it so i can see it.

thats what the first machine is for...to deburr it and cut down the sharp edges...the second one for polishing...i havent bought them yet, dont know if its worth the $8k..
