no dont laugh but i was watching horsepower tv and they said that i want a top and bottom end girdle but how much will i spend on a turbo kit or jus manifold but i was hopng for rite around 600whp

The problem with a 302 and a top end girdle is that where you drill to put the girdle into is already so thin that by the time you're done you've weakened the block itself so much that you haven't really accomplished much.

600whp can be done, but I forsee block crackage with it. Serious block crackage. they say X blocks are more durable than Y blocks...might wanna make sure you have an x block just to be sure, but I would not feel comfortable running around with 600WHP on a stock 302 block.
