Default 3.55 or 3.73

what gears do u guys recomend for my truck, i have a set of 4.10 in it now and it is to much i cant even finish the 1/.4( running an aod tranny)

i ran it tonite and got a 90mph in the 1/8th and had to let off before i hit the 1/4 but i still trapped 104 so i knwo she has alot more in her, just the gears suck


i was thinkking about some 3.55 but wondeirng if 3.73 will work better or not

my short times suck, i am still gettin a feel for the truck actually my short times were as followed 9.1 @84 mph and 8.9 @ 88 and i am only letting it go up to like 5000

Wouldn't you do this by changing your final gear? You would just change the ratio of that..

well i guess the thing i need to figure out is how high u can rev the motor, its a built motor i just dont want to float the lifters and fuck up the motor
