hmm...i wonder how far i could roll after i get done making a pass if i didnt pull a shoot and tossed it in neutral, and had plenty of road. anyone good with physics? 178mph letting off after 1/4 mile, 3071lb car, .19 drag coefficient (i believe thats right, its a fox) no wind. 9psi in a 30x15 et drag...i think someone could figure this out...it uses just shy of 1 gallon a pass...think it'd make 12 miles?

120 is a little fast...should think about slowing it down, didn't think they could get up going that fast.

Not stock, right? Those things only do like 125 stock from what I recall.

completly stock, except for slightly shorter tires (1% error). They dont have a true speed limiter the system they use limits speed based on load of the motor, normally stops about 129ish for the 3.27 cars and about 115 with 3.55s. some 99 or 2000s got out without a limiter. The reason they are limited about where they are is the long driveshaft making bad vibrations about 135 with 3.27 and about 120 with the 3.55, and i have not seen any 28" tall tires rated any higher than about 135

so, what are they capable of going redline in top gear, if Ford could get the damn driveshaft to stop vibrating around and the tires wouldn't go bang?
