Ive been saving money and I got a decent amount to spend.. but dont want to spend it pointlessly just because I have it.. if that makes sense.

how do these cars run stock? how much faster is the 01 then the 99?

 

If I remember correctly the 01 ran low 13's.IMO the 01 is a good setup to startout with.Its not s/c stock but most terminators upgrade to kennebell,turbo or centrifigul anyway.The short block upgrade only has to be weighed against the extra cost of the 03-04.

 

01 i beleive was the newer trans a much better one than the 00' and down

 

I'd get an 01. I havnt been impressed by 99's yet.. Just my opinion

 

Bronson, just get an 01, do some 4.30's, longtubes + x-pipe, 150 wet with a tune from sam and call her a day..

99's had the T45, 01's had the 3650 tranny

Both IRS.

Same motor.

Generally the same ET.

I've heard that some 01's had bad head castings and had leak issues with the radiator fluid.

Oh and no 00's were made. Thanks to the 99 fuck up. But if you get a 99 make sure the "fix" was done. -Mark
