New car for the GF
After much debate, I have decided to retire my girlfriend/fiancee's car a 1993 Toyota Tercel. We are in the process of purchasing a "new" used 2005 Ford Focus ZX3 with 10,600 miles on it from my dealership. Here's a pic from their site as I don't have any, we are having the windows tinted as well. They are giving me a decent price since I work there and it's about time she drive something nice anyways

I'm not paying that little for mine, but it's still cheaper than any other dealership I could find for the options and low mileage. We don't have access to their cost lists, just the cost sheet they bring out. We're looking at about 10k for it, I have to finance a minimum of 7500 through the bank. I get it for about 3k less than retail. Which is "ok" no choice in the matter since that's the best discount I can get .

Yeah taht was a huge typo. I paid 9.2k for it with all my financing. Forget teh bottom line price i paid. They lost $10 on the deal lol. Thinking about trading it in on an ST since the financing is really nice right now.
The ST is a fantastic car. But for the price Ford wants for the ST, you can get the same motor in a better chassis for less money (and not to mention better build quality) with a Mazda 3 4-door.

If u get the 2.0 it's decent, 34ish is what we've been getting cruising around. Unsure on the 2.3, they are essentially the same motors, just different displacement now. The focus is an auto, and it's the gf's I think she wants to put some rims and a lip kit or something on it. I told her to hop it up, but they don't make many upgrades for that motor yet other than what you can get for the 2.3 and she don't really want to do anything until it's out of warranty. It has the leftover of the 3/36 and the dealership is doing a 7/100,00 powertrain as well.
