I'm averaging 30 mpg in mine driving like an ass most of the time. if it's for a cheap DD, the ZX3 s modle can be had for near 10k. With the new waranty too if it's an '07. Dunno if they are carrying it over to te remander '06's, but the have a 5 yr 100,000 mile powertrain warranty.

The model we are looking at is the SE with pwr windows/locks/keyless entry/pwr mirrors cd/mp3 player etc. Edmunds/KBB have it at about 13-14k retail price with the miles.

I've already got the financing taken care of, I'll go look at some new ones, but I don't think I can pull a new one out the door for that price.

The base model ZX3 is such a friggin' ripoff now. Back when I purchased my base 2000 ZX3 it was pretty much loaded with power everything, rear swaybar, alloy wheels, A/C, etc for $13k. Now they base just under $15k and don't even come with A/C standard (not to mention no sway bar, crappy hubcaps, no tach, etc). WTF!?!? It is as if Ford is following in Honda's footsteps by actually offering a car without A/C (the Civic base comes without it). Luckily you can get a heavy discount on the new ZX3 and get good deals on pre-owned vehicles.

Well we ended up buying the used one I showed you guys. Ford was gonna hook me up on a new 2006, but good like finding an automatic 2dr SE, by time I was done w/the delivery charges and a couple weeks I "might" have one for the same price lol..
