Default Help me find this part!!!!

I want to wire my Fan and Fuel pump to come on when my oil pressure hits 5 or so psi. I knew theres a way to do it. I've had many cars that have been like that but the guys at A&E/summit Don't have a clue . They found one from NOS but its 39.99. I think you can get it at Autozone just need to know what car and year. Major thanks in advance

Sounds like a Hobbs switch to a relay.

The only problem I could see is if the car sits and oil pressure drops, the fuel pump won't turn on to prime the system until it builds some oil pressure. It may take several seconds for the switch to see the pressure, turn the pump on, prime the system and fill the float bowls.

You are correct. But you'll still need the key and power source and a relay to run those High current devices. I can see running a switch like that on the f/p to turn it off under a set oil pressure. It just sounds like there is no use for the safety switch it that application.

Holley has one that I've used before -- It's part number 12-810.

Edit - I used it for the FP -- after reading what you want to do, this probably wouldn't work...

I'm not to sure whats so hard to grasp here. let me try this again.... Running a key on wire from somewhere in the car to the oil pressure switch (thats what i'm looking for) on this "switch" theres going to be to prongs one for the key on. then i'm going to run 2 wires one to each relay (one for the fuel pump one for the fan) this way when the keys on nothings working. until the car build 5 psi of pressure.
