Help me find this part!!!!
Sure it does. Basically instead of hot wiring his pump and fan to a key-on source, he wants them to be on when the engine is running.
The only problem I could see is if the car sits and oil pressure drops, the fuel pump won't turn on to prime the system until it builds some oil pressure. It may take several seconds for the switch to see the pressure, turn the pump on, prime the system and fill the float bowls.

I'm not to sure whats so hard to grasp here. let me try this again.... Running a key on wire from somewhere in the car to the oil pressure switch (thats what i'm looking for) on this "switch" theres going to be to prongs one for the key on. then i'm going to run 2 wires one to each relay (one for the fuel pump one for the fan) this way when the keys on nothings working. until the car build 5 psi of pressure.
Its got nothing to do with safety just sick of switches to turn shit on and off. And hate turning the key on to hear the pump and fan come on when I just want the radio on. Its just a preference thing for me.

Go to NAPA and ask them for the Echlin book, and look for oil pressure switches (they should be OPXXXX part numbers). Look through the description and you'll see the thread size, psi rating for the switch and also whether they are normally open or closed. You want a normally open. This means that with no outside action, the circuit is open. If pressure is reached, it closes the circuit and turns your pump and fan on.

that's why the ignition switch lets you select accessory or on/run
I'm with Dave....Napa should be able the switch you need.
