Unhappy A minor issue

Well the other day it rained so hard that my car was partially underwater. So I go out and move it, and she seems to be fine. Well going home the alternator wasnt charging under 3k rpms. So I stupidly stop at a store to get some dinner, and the car wouldnt start. The tow truck arrives an hour later and jump starts the Cobra. After that no more alternator issues, she has kept a full charge. Well yesterday i hear what seems to be an exaust leak...I didnt really think to much about it. But the low coolant light on the dash was bothering me. So today coming back from lunch it almost overheats, and i smell coolant something fierce. I popped the hood and the resivoir is full. Could the exhaust leak and the coolant be the same issue, or may there be more going on under the surface?

fan turning on? Could all be related to your alt/elcetrical issue.

It also has a ccrm manual start switch for hot conditions....check the upper hose fitting on the manifold....I bought a fancy SVO piece for it and had some sealant issues for a bit....I should have just put a damn cheap one in...it would have sealed properly....even though it looks like a better piece........they suck.Stewart had the same issue with his....

as for your exhaust....That was Dave's Hellen Keller work I told you you would need a new H pipe........

The charging issue was probably a wet belt.
I was hoping not to hear the word head in the answer But yeah i think the charging was a bad belt.

You didnt tell me about the idler pulley

I need to figure out the exhaust leak...i just checked the car, everything seems to be fine now. there are no puddles under the car, and the temp gauge is back down.

Hey take that stuff home with you, i will stop by up there tomorrow and pick them up...if the car makes it
