Default Vortec Oil return line

Has anyone here used the dss oil pan tap they are selling ? I am getting ready to install the sc on my car and am very Leary @ this part of it.DSS sell this but I was wondering where on a 4.6 oil pan you would put it.The front is too shallow ?

That looks alot like the part that holds the railing on our boat. It is aluminum and has the four holes with a 3/8 npt thread.

I have that bung, and it works fine, you drill your pan, big deal, I had the advantage of buying a new pan, so with it off I drilled it out and used the fitting.

Found the site thanks, just looks easy to do, I don't want to pull my pan as its already setup in my car.

plan on using drain already in my pan,Canton is nice enough to put one on the drivers side for me.(using Canton Roadrace pan) will take pics if anyone needs them, its their top of the line roadrace pan with the diamond baffle and windage tray/Crank scraper

What year car ? I dont want to pull the pan that is a job on the 4.6 cars..The pan has to be pulled to use this.Also the 46 pan is not as deep as a 50 pan.Im not 100% sure this will work.

When you run the oil return line I was told not to drill the hole..How else do you reccomend I do it ?
