If he is a scammer, you dont stand a good chance of keeping it.
Reason being, to have a sale 'stick', the item needs to be shipped to the buyers confirmed address with tracking. If you ship to an unconfirmed or allow someone to pick it up, all they have to do is tell Paypal they didnt get it and they get their money back.
Its called a charge back, and if the buyer files one you will log on to your paypal acct and see it deducted that amount. When you go to the page on the dispute, you will have two links to click. One is to put in a tracking number, and the other is to issue the buyer a refund. doesnt matter if you have a seller feedback of 50,000, thats your option.
So, never take a paypal deposit for something you arent shipping, unless the agreement is they will pay for it in cash when they arrive and you will refund them the paypal.

Hmmm, didnt think of that one, thats pretty good.
Case I had someone from out of the country wanted to buy a fuel pump, regulator, and filter. Thats like 500 bux worth of stuff, and have me ship it to an unconfirmed. While I was trying to work something out(offered to let him pay by money order, and I would pay the overnight fees), he filed a dispute.
Had I sent him the stuff already, I woulda been fucked like Chuck..

I almost got scammed selling a laptop on ebay with that exact situation. Luckly I was too lazy to go to the post office and the fag thought I already shipped it when the chargeback occured.

But its still a pretty shitty situation for him to tell you he's making it right but he's modding his car instead.

here we go again..........
The post office will offer overseas deilvery conformation. It's not cheap but that is the only way we do it. It is not to all countrys but check with them. We went a 75mm throttle body to Australia and it saved us loosing $275.
