wondering if theres any road racing trakcs or events that go on locally, within the next few years im thinking of buying another sn95 chassis stang and im thinking about tuning the suspension and brakes for handling just for a change out of my die-hard drag preferances.....just looking for another kind of racing to thrill me, am i wasting my time doing it or is there anything locally i can entertain myself on?

 

Gainseville's road course has Test and tunes every now and again, and of course there is sebring, they hold events there aswell (i believe Svtoa hold open track events there), and there are usually Auto X events held around the Central Florida Area as well, just takes a little bit of planning and work to get to the events, which is why i converted to drag racing lol

 

ill stay in drag, but i wanted to shoot at something new just to change it up a little, plus i also have to come up with a reason to buy a new car

 

Don't be discouraged... Road Racing is a blast! You need to hook up with a local club and a hit a few of the tracks. I know a few of the clubs will run local events at Sebring, Moroso, Homestead, and Daytona. Some of the clubs even break out and hit Road Atlanta, VIR, Roebling Road, Watkins Glen, and great tracks. Here are a few of the local clubs that I know of....
