John, it is considered a bad luck color with circle track racers, not so much with drag racers. Some of the old guys won't even come talk to you in the pits.... My first car was green... it went on the roof, rolled two times, and caught on fire... all the same night! I painted it Silver after that!

Don't even ask about the peanuts. I know old guys that wouldn't race that night if you put a peanut in their car!!! (and if their fast... )

I ran 12.57@113.13 with stock heads, cam, 6 psi, 75 shot, and spining off the line, granny shifting. If you are the same guy I met at Bradenton 2 TR events ago, you saw my car. I think if the car is real clean, never been hit, and well taken care of, then it is worth the money, give or take a few hundred. You can get a fox with more mods for less, but how many miles are on the car, how many times has it been hit, and how wore out is it. When I say clean, I don't mean shiny on the outside, tore up on the inside, either.

Thanks for the knowledge, Brett, I had never heard that before.
