You are CORRECT!! LOL Any way I found the problem. EEC Power Relay was bad, the one up under the dash next to the computer. Thanks for all the ideas

Same problem I had with mine in early 2002. I wish I could have caught this thread early and mention it. It's always best to stick with a Ford original relay when it comes to these. The ones at Advance Auto and Autozone ( GP Sorensen part number MR14 ) can be pieces of junk right out of the box. NAPA also carries them under Echlin part number AR242
