Default The shakes.

I recently instaslled a C4 and a TCI 10" streetfighter converter. the stall on the converter is around 3000, on the foot brake it stalls around 2400-2500. After a few miles of driving it has developed a shake starting at about 2500 rpm in gear or out of gear. i checked the converter studs yesterday they were kinda loose. I retightened them along with a lot of red loc-tite on them. I let the loc-tite set up almost 24 hours. Took the car around the block, same thing again.

Ive never driven with a stall converter before, is this something the converter does? The car does not shake like it is about to fall apart, just shakes enough for me to be concerned.

Would an out of balance driveshaft shake the car when the car is in park?

lol, you didn't specify park tho.

There would be no shake in a good running converter. It could be your flexplate to crank bolts.

Your discombobulator can become out of line with your flux capacitor......

Was the converter new?? You may have a converter out of balance or your input shaft is shot. Is the tranny new?
