I would go with a 351 based engine instead of the 460. Unless you are going to go all out with the 460, I don't think it is worth the extra weight over the 351.
Just my opinion though.

Brett and I were talking about this yesterday. I'd definitely go with a 460. Stock shortblock, aluminum heads, victor jr and a plate kit went mid 10's in a clean fox I saw a few years ago at FFW. A big block will live FOREVER at 5-600 hp. Plus they are actually really easy to work on in a Fox engine compartment. Plug changes with a 460 are easier than a Windsor.

I'm looking to throw a motor in the car and put some N2O to it. Then when I've done what I can with it I'll pull it out and build it up.
I was looking at the FRPP 460 crate engine rated at 500hp/495tq and its only $5500 compared to $9400 for the 351w based strokers that are at the same power level. I guess I'll do the 460 with a 150 shot and see what I get out of it.
