You can paint it, but since paint doesn't stick to chrome very well, and the key lock is a very high traffic area that gets a sharp object jabbed at it all the time, you'll be repainting it soon.
FYI, they should be chrome and not white, so that means your car's been repainted.

really? The left side is nice and white.. Huh... so OEM is chrome... UH OHHH.. He never told me about this.. Maybe this was before oh well... The paint has a few chips on it though...
SOo it is supposed to be chrome? White really looks kinda nice though..
