Default Bleah! Heater Core Replacement

I'm right in the middle of it...well, almost in the middle. I still haven't gotten to the damn thing yet. I think if I remove the gas cap door, the right front spindle and possibly the driver side rear brake cylinder I can get to it. Getting tired of watching the steam roll out of my dash vents.

Anybody want a turbo notchback kit? Turbo stuff is installed but the notch is now in kit form.

Don't forget to pull the right rear tire and the number 6 spark plug.

I would have figured you would be installing some "new" lower control arms. That heater core isn't going to make you any faster.

Thanks for the tip on the spark plug. I was having a hell of a time getting to those rear screws until I popped the #6 plug. Removing the license plate almost got me there but not quite.

Joe, you don't know how much I would rather be doing that than this. I've been limping along with steam rolling out of my vents for a couple of months and decided I better git 'er dun before it blew completely and parboiled my feet or something. Silly me, I thought I might be able to do both this weekend. As it stands I'll be driving to work tomorrow with nothing in front of me except a heater core and a steering wheel...if I'm lucky.

I'll swing by tomorrow with some stipend for jou.

Oh, Jim Bob. I'll take the '68. Would prefer a fastback but the coupe will do.
