One thing after another.....
I've had to pick up a crank snout with pulley still attached from the road once. Not fun. Even if the crankshaft wasn't broken you best believe it's hurt and you'd best not re-use it. If the engine was rebuilt then clearnaces were probably not within spec and that would lead to the crankshaft walking back and forth working its way to its demise.
