honestly, I think you will be fine with 1.6 rockers, you can always fly cut yourself

 

stock motors are good for .540ish lift, you still have a bit to go

or are you asking how to do it yourself? the redneck way is a cutting wheel . There is a tool you can buy, its a cutting tool you install into the head, lay it on the motor, attach it to a drill and cut away
