blow through question

blow through question
so I have this "friend" who is going super charged blow through......His question is can he run a blow off valve,instead of a bypass valve.He was also interested in running a front mount ic,instead of the aftercooler.
If anyone has any input please post,and i'll make I let him know

blow through doable,our turbo o5 is blow through.Tune a bit more challenging but again doable,try to have the mass air in a section of pipe as straight as possible with bends or BOV as far away as possible to improve driveability characteristics.
