99+ 4V would work. you would have to swap over a few other needed parts.

jaime just rebuild it with some cams, and lower the compression and boost it. 98 cobra heads have small ports so they work well with boost because of the velocity, or build a n/a motor using 07 cobra heads, and a 99 4v intake and other required parts. Go talk to sam at coastal.. he knows his shit

You have it backwards. 96-98 "B" heads have dual intake ports making them flow great #'s but lack velocity. So they're not the greatest for n/a. But for forced induction they rock. I'd say to forged the bottom end and stuff 15psi down it's throat. Easily getting 460+rwhp using stock heads and cams. -Mark

I already planned on taking it to sam at coastal but I dunno what I want to do to it......I want something decently quick on the street but reliable.......I dunno if moms would be down for boosting it......lol

i agree jaime, if you drive it everyday, i would just build high comp n/a motor, and beef up the rearend with some gears.
