Default T5 Problems

I attemp to drive my car today for the first time after the t5 conversion. I put it in first and let out the clutch, it pops out of gear while grinding badly. Cant use first at all, I was thinking it might be the syncros but not sure. Figured one of u on here would have had this problem and might be able to tell me what it is.

Maybe the shift stops are adusted too far foward and it's not totally going in gear?? If not, then it sounds like your tranny is fubar.

No he pulled the tranny out of a car. Was told that the tranny was working properly perviously. it holds in 2nd and 3rd (not sure about 4 and 5).
