Clutch is a brand new King Cobra. Cable is used might be streached. 2nd and 3rd gears work fine.

I drove the car today after i took up some more slack in the cable. I got it to engauge first but not every time it still wanted to kick out of gear. When i did get it to hold it held even under full power and there was no grinding on 1 2 shift. So my question is should i spend the money on a new cable and quadrent or still look into a rebuild.

Every time I've had a T5 pop out of gear it was time for a rebuild. I've been through about a dozen of them.
