my 97 cobra has been good to me ,my old step up bolt on's with 150 shot of nitrous . made about 420whp and 485tq, i went 11.7 on nittos tires . my car is going in to the shop the first of the year,i just got a set of eagle rods and wiseco pistons ,my compression is going from 9.5-1 to 10-1 ,arp head studs,arp main bolts. and i'm going to go to a 2 stage nitrous set up 100 shot dry and 150 wet plate system, I'm happen to make well over 500whp with a good tune and maybe a 10sec pass..

 

Why you going with eagle and wiseco? I'd research a little more. I know manely rods have been tested and seem to be a great H-beam rod with decent rpm capability. Diamond pistons are great also. CP pistons are good ones too. -Mark

 

eagle rods are the only ones iv ever used in other set up, and will handle well over 800hp and are tested to take the rpm,H beam is the only way to go .im going wiseco because they have a good name and have been happy with them in the past. but if u know something i dont, let me know. thanks for your input
